Back to questions

Why not just go to the emergency room or urgent care center?

You’ll have a shorter wait time. The wait at an emergency room or urgent care can be up to 6 hours or more because doctors are dealing with life-threatening emergencies, like heart attacks and accident victims. Emergency rooms and urgent care centers don’t have orthopaedic specialists on site and end up referring you to specialists like the ones at OrthoNOW.

Back to questions

Do I need an appointment to be seen at OrthoNOW?

Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is necessary. However, the specialists welcome appointments to see patients with less urgent orthopaedic problems.

Back to questions

What are OrthoNOW’s hours?

OrthoNOW accepts walk-ins. Monday–Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Soon, OrthoNOW will also be open on Saturdays.

Back to questions

Will I pay more by going to OrthoNOW?

OrthoNOW walk-in center charges the same co-payment as a doctor’s office, which is cheaper than a visit to an emergency room or urgent care center. This is also appealing to insurers.

Back to questions

What insurance is accepted at OrthoNOW?

OrthoNOW accepts: AvMed, CIGNA, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Medicare, workers compensation, international insurances, and more.

Back to questions
